VB-G RAM G Initiative Launched in Mukkavaripalli Village, Andhra Pradesh

The renewed rural employment scheme was inaugurated in Mukkavaripalli, located in the Tirupati district. This initiative prioritizes the welfare of farmers by enhancing rural employment opportunities. In accordance with this scheme, the Central Government has pledged to procure 2.16 lakh tonnes of Totapuri mangoes, which are a significant agricultural product in the region.

Totapuri mangoes, celebrated for their unique flavor and vibrant color, are particularly popular in various markets across India. The procurement plan aims to provide farmers with stable income and ensure that their produce reaches consumers efficiently. This move aligns with the governments broader efforts to strengthen the agricultural sector and support rural livelihoods.

Additionally, this employment scheme may create various job opportunities in agriculture-related activities, further contributing to local economic development. The initiative underscores the governments commitment to improving the socio-economic conditions of rural communities, particularly in regions heavily reliant on agriculture like Tirupati.
