A Yogandhra session held at the Naval Dockyard marks the beginning of the lead-up to the International Day of Yoga celebrations, scheduled for June 21 at RK Beach.

The International Day of Yoga was established by the United Nations in 2014, aiming to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga. This year, various activities and events will be organized in anticipation of the celebration, promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through yoga practice.

The session at the Naval Dockyard was attended by naval personnel and their families, emphasizing the importance of wellness and mindfulness in daily life. Participants engaged in various yoga postures and breathing exercises, guided by qualified instructors.

As the day approaches, additional events including community yoga sessions, workshops, and demonstrations are expected to take place at RK Beach, inviting individuals from all walks of life to participate and experience the positive effects of yoga.
