West Bengal Cabinet Expands as 35 MLAs Sworn in as Ministers

In a recent development in West Bengal, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari officially inducted 13 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) into his Cabinet as Cabinet Ministers. In addition, three MLAs have been appointed as Ministers of State (Independent Charge), and another 19 MLAs will serve as Ministers of State within the Council of Ministers.

This reshuffle reflects the BJP’s efforts to strengthen its governance in West Bengal following the partys commitment to enhancing development and addressing key issues within the state. The newly appointed ministers will have various portfolios, which are expected to be announced shortly. This move comes amid ongoing political dynamics in West Bengal, where the BJP has been actively working to increase its presence and influence in a state that has traditionally been dominated by other political parties.

The induction of these ministers is seen as a crucial step for the BJP as it seeks to implement its policies and respond to the expectations of its constituents in West Bengal.
