Yogandhra-2026 Initiative Launches in Andhra Pradesh, Attracts 25,000 Registrations

A new initiative has been launched with the goal of engaging one crore individuals in yoga activities in the lead-up to International Yoga Day, which falls on June 21. This campaign is set to run until June 20, featuring a series of awareness and promotional programs organized across all 28 districts.

The initiative aims to promote the physical and mental health benefits of yoga, encouraging widespread participation from communities. Activities will include yoga sessions, workshops, and seminars designed to educate participants about the practice and its advantages.

International Yoga Day, first celebrated in 2015 following a proposal by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the United Nations General Assembly, aims to raise awareness of yoga and its holistic benefits. As the day approaches, this initiative seeks to not only improve individual well-being but also to foster community engagement and a sense of unity among participants.
