Young Activist Completes 7,000-Kilometer Walk to Raise Awareness for Climate and Animal Welfare Issues

Ayan Banerjee, a climate and animal welfare activist, has embarked on an extensive journey along India’s coastline, aiming to cover a distance of 7,000 kilometres. Through this trek, Banerjee is documenting personal narratives that reflect instances of environmental distress, as well as acts of kindness and grassroots initiatives focused on conservation and animal welfare.

Banerjees mission highlights the urgent environmental challenges faced by coastal communities in India, such as rising sea levels, habitat loss, and pollution. By engaging with local residents, he seeks to amplify their voices and bring attention to their efforts in combating these issues.

Additionally, Banerjee will be collaborating with various NGOs and community groups throughout his walk, sharing insights on how individuals can contribute to environmental sustainability and animal protection. This initiative not only aims to raise awareness about current ecological crises but also fosters a sense of community and shared responsibility for the environment.
