22 Ships Bound for India on Evacuation List from Hormuz
A recent assessment has identified 20 vessels as essential to India’s energy security, comprising over 500,000 tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), as well as approximately 1.676 million tonnes of crude oil. In response to the critical nature of these supplies, multiple government agencies are collaborating to facilitate the safe and timely evacuation of the vessels.
This operation highlights Indias ongoing efforts to ensure energy stability, especially in light of fluctuating global energy markets. The involvement of various agencies indicates a coordinated approach to address potential disruptions in energy supplies, which are vital for both domestic consumption and economic activities across the country. Further updates on the progress of the evacuation efforts are expected as agencies work to mitigate any risks associated with these essential energy resources.
