GMAT Implements Significant Superscore Feature: Key Information for Students

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has unveiled a significant update to the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) with the introduction of the GMAT Superscore feature. This new initiative allows candidates to compile their highest section scores from various attempts of the GMAT, resulting in a composite score that reflects their best performance.

The GMAT Superscore feature is slated to be launched in August 2024, and there will be no additional fees associated with its implementation. GMAC officials have stated that this enhancement is designed to alleviate test anxiety, enabling applicants to present a more competitive profile when applying to business schools.

Historically, business schools have evaluated candidates based on their best single test score.
