Andhra Pradesh to Launch Pulse Polio Campaign from June 28, Aiming to Vaccinate 49.2 Lakh Children

On June 28, health officials will administer drops at a total of 29,873 designated booths as part of a public health initiative aimed at improving child health and preventing diseases. In addition to the booth-based distribution, house-to-house visits will take place on June 29 and 30. These follow-up visits are intended to ensure that any children who were unable to receive drops at the booths are reached.

This initiative forms part of a broader vaccination campaign targeting preventable diseases within the community. Parents are encouraged to participate actively by bringing their children to the nearest booth on the designated date and ensuring that all eligible children are accounted for during the house visits.
