DMK Unveils Manifesto Offering ₹8,000 Coupons for Homemakers to Purchase Household Appliances

The Illatharasi scheme has been introduced to assist homemakers in purchasing or replacing household appliances. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M.K. Stalin has described the initiative as a central feature of the partys platform for the upcoming 2026 elections.

In addition, the partys manifesto outlines plans to expand the Chief Minister’s Breakfast Scheme, which currently provides nutritious meals to students, to cover students up to Class 8. This extension aims to further enhance the nutrition and wellbeing of children in the state, reinforcing the governments commitment to education and public health. As the election approaches, these initiatives highlight the DMKs focus on social welfare and support for families.
