A.P. Minister Announces Godavari Water Supply to Anakapalli via Polavaram Left Main Canal by June

In a recent announcement, local official Ramanaidu reported that over 28,500 acres of agricultural land, along with 110 minor irrigation tanks, will receive improved access to irrigation water. This initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity and support local farmers. Furthermore, 143 villages, benefiting a population of approximately 523,000 residents, will gain access to safe drinking water, significantly improving public health and sanitation in the region.

This initiative is part of a broader development project aimed at ensuring sustainable water supply and improving the living standards of residents in rural areas.
