Bank of Baroda Projects Inflation to Reach 4% in April Amidst Rising Food and Global Concerns

The Consumer Price Index for essential kitchen staples, namely Tomato, Onion, and Potato (collectively referred to as TOP), is anticipated to experience an increase. Notably, the price of tomatoes saw a significant rise of 35.8% in April 2026 compared to the same month in the previous fiscal year.
