Bengaluru: Recent Rainfall Disrupts Daily Activities

Bengaluru experienced a maximum temperature of 34°C, with slightly higher readings reported at local airports. HAL Airport recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4°C, while Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) reached 35°C.

These temperatures are consistent with the typical weather patterns for this time of year in Bengaluru, which generally experiences warm to hot conditions during the days in October. The citys elevation at about 900 meters above sea level usually contributes to a more moderate climate compared to many other regions in India. However, the urban heat effect, caused by rapid urbanization and land use changes, can lead to higher temperatures in certain areas. Local meteorological authorities continue to monitor weather patterns as the region transitions into the winter months, which typically feature cooler temperatures and increased rainfall.
