Census 2027: More than 1.1 million households in Maharashtra complete self-enumeration process

In the recent self-enumeration process, Pune district led the state with a notable total of 153,568 households completing the survey. Following Pune, the Mumbai Suburban district recorded 121,068 households, while Thane district reported 116,512 households. In contrast, Mumbai city had 61,295 households participating, and Nashik district completed the count with 52,667 households.
