Chief Minister Asserts No Plans for Privatization in Critical Minerals Corridor Project
Keralas Minister for Industries, P. Rajeev Satheesan, announced that a new industrial project will be executed through a consortium. This consortium includes major players such as Coal India Ltd, Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd., Travancore Titanium Products, and the Non-Ferrous Materials Technology Development Centre.

Each member of the consortium brings unique strengths; for instance, Coal India Ltd is one of the largest coal producers in the world, while Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd. specializes in the extraction and processing of mineral resources. Travancore Titanium Products has a significant presence in titanium manufacturing, and the Non-Ferrous Materials Technology Development Centre is recognized for its research and development in non-ferrous metallurgical processes.
