Pulse Polio Campaign Set to Begin on June 28; 283,000 Children to Receive Vaccine in Anantapur District

In an initiative to promote child health, health officials will administer vitamin drops to children under the age of five at 1,623 designated booths throughout the district. This program is scheduled to run from June 28 to July 1, with additional door-to-door visits planned for June 29 and 30 to ensure all eligible children receive the necessary doses.

The initiative aims to enhance nutritional health and prevent deficiencies among young children, a critical age group for growth and development. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the nearest booth during the specified dates, and for those unable to visit, health workers will conduct home visits to reach families directly.
