Cyclone Arnab Prompts Rain Alerts and Yellow Warnings in Several States, Heavy Rain Expected in Six States with Hailstorms Possible in Delhi NCR, Punjab, and Haryana.

Cyclone Arnab is expected to cause significant weather changes across several states in India. A yellow warning has been issued for Odisha, indicating that residents should be prepared for potentially severe weather conditions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heavy to very heavy rainfall in at least six states, as well as the possibility of hailstorms in regions such as Delhi-NCR, Punjab, and Haryana.

The cyclone, developing in the Bay of Bengal, is predicted to move northward, intensifying the rainfall across affected areas. Residents in Odisha are particularly urged to stay vigilant as the cyclone approaches and to prepare for disruptive weather conditions.

In addition to the rainfall, the IMD has reported that moderate to heavy rainfall could be seen in neighboring states such as West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and even parts of Uttar Pradesh in the coming days. The agency has advised individuals in these states to be cautious as flash floods and waterlogging may occur due to the anticipated heavy downpours.

Authorities are closely monitoring the cyclones path and will continue to provide updates to ensure public safety. Farmers and fishermen are also advised to take preventive measures as the weather could affect agricultural activities and marine operations.

As the situation unfolds, residents are encouraged to remain informed through official weather updates and to heed any advisories issued by local authorities to mitigate risks associated with the severe weather conditions.
