Dharmendra Pradhan Evaluates Revamp of CBSE Payment Gateway System in Collaboration with PSU Banks

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan convened a meeting with senior officials from State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, and Indian Bank to discuss improvements to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) payment gateway system. This initiative comes in response to recent technical challenges experienced by students when accessing post-examination services, including re-evaluation requests and obtaining photocopies of answer sheets.

During the discussions, the Minister emphasized the need for enhanced payment protocols to ensure a more efficient and user-friendly experience for students. Key topics included the introduction of quicker grievance redressal mechanisms, real-time transaction monitoring, and automatic refund processes. These measures aim to facilitate secure and seamless digital transactions, ultimately improving the overall service quality for students during critical examination-related activities.

This overhaul is part of broader efforts by the Ministry of Education to leverage technology in streamlining educational processes and ensuring that students can navigate the administrative aspects of their education without undue stress. The collaboration with public sector banks is expected to result in more reliable service delivery as the new systems are developed and implemented.
