Domestic LPG Price Increased by ₹29 for 14.2-Kg Cylinder

In response to ongoing disruptions in global energy supplies due to the conflict in West Asia, the price of domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders has risen by an additional ₹60 as of March 7. This price adjustment reflects the broader impact of international fuel price fluctuations on local markets.

The recent conflict has affected the stability of oil production and transportation routes in the region, leading to increased uncertainty in the global energy market. Following the initial hike, consumers have expressed concern over the rising cost of essential commodities, as LPG is a critical fuel source for cooking in many households across India.

As global energy prices continue to be influenced by geopolitical tensions, experts suggest that further adjustments to fuel prices may occur in the near future, depending on the situation in West Asia and global market conditions.
