Education Ministry Advances PM-SHRI Implementation in West Bengal, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu Following Elections

In September 2022, the Indian government launched a comprehensive five-year initiative designed to enhance the quality of education across the country by transforming over 14,500 schools into “exemplar institutions.” This initiative is aligned with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which aims to provide a more holistic, inclusive, and multidisciplinary education by introducing innovative teaching methods and improving the learning environment.
