GBA to Introduce Online Khata Correction Feature Soon

A new initiative has been launched to allow citizens to correct errors in their khata (land record) details more efficiently. This program aims to streamline the process, reducing procedural delays and enhancing the overall user experience.

By providing citizens with an accessible platform to update their information, the initiative promotes transparency and efficiency within the land record management system. It is expected to facilitate quicker resolution of discrepancies, which can often impede property transactions and land ownership clarity.

Authorities have announced that the first phase of the program will be implemented in urban areas, with plans to expand to rural regions subsequently. Additionally, public awareness campaigns will be conducted to ensure that citizens are informed about how to utilize the new system effectively. This initiative is part of a broader effort to modernize land governance and improve service delivery across the region.
