Government Requests Healthcare Trust to Finalize Guidelines for Health Scheme

The board of the Employees Health Care Trust (EHCT) has been reconstituted, now consisting of 18 members drawn from various administrative sectors. The board includes the Chief Secretary and Special Chief Secretaries from essential departments, as well as Chief Executive Officers from the Rajiv Arogya Sri Trust, the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), and the Employees Health Scheme (EHS).

This reconstitution aims to bolster the trusts governance and operational efficiency, ensuring a comprehensive oversight of health care services for employees. The inclusion of representatives from key departments and trusts underscores the governments commitment to improving health care access and quality for state employees.
