Jaishankar Set to Visit West Asia, the United States, and Belgium

Jaishankar to Embark on Six-Nation Tour in July to Strengthen Diplomatic Ties

Indias External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, is set to undertake a significant six-nation diplomatic tour starting July 5, aimed at enhancing relationships with key partners in West Asia and beyond. The itinerary includes visits to Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, the United States, and Belgium.

This tour comes at a crucial time as India seeks to bolster its strategic partnerships and may involve discussions on regional security issues, economic cooperation, and joint initiatives in various sectors. With India occupying a pivotal role in global politics, this visit aligns with its efforts to increase its influence and participation in international forums, including a campaign for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

Throughout his visits, Jaishankar is expected to engage in high-level meetings with foreign ministers and heads of state to discuss mutual interests, particularly in energy security and trade relations.
