Karnataka SIR: Over 77% of Enumeration Forms Distributed in the State

In a recent report on the distribution of enumeration forms for the upcoming census, Belagavi district emerged as the leader with a total of 30.9 lakh forms distributed. Mysuru followed closely with 22.27 lakh forms, while Kalaburagi and Tumakuru reported distributions of 19.07 lakh and 19.39 lakh, respectively. Bengaluru Urban concluded the list of the top five districts with 16.9 lakh forms distributed.

This distribution is a crucial step in the census process, which occurs every ten years in India, aiming to collect demographic, social, and economic data about the population. The enumeration forms are essential for ensuring accurate representation and resource allocation for various government services.
