Kengal Hanumanthaiah Road in Bengaluru to Undergo White-Topping Following JC Road Issues

The Bengaluru Traffic Police have granted permission for the continuation of essential infrastructure projects, including drainage, footpath enhancements, and utility works. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) plans to initiate whitetopping—a process that involves laying a thick concrete layer over existing roads—for a one-kilometer stretch between KH Circle and Kreeda Junction. This work is expected to commence within the next month.

Whitetopping is known for its durability and ability to enhance the surface quality of roads, potentially improving traffic flow and safety. The decision to proceed with these improvements aligns with ongoing efforts to upgrade urban infrastructure in Bengaluru to better accommodate the citys growing population and vehicular traffic. Further details regarding project timelines and specific traffic management plans during construction are anticipated in the coming weeks.
