Kharge Critiques BJP Government for Not Pursuing Pradhans Resignation in Accountability Assessment

The Indian government has temporarily restricted access to the messaging platform Telegram in response to reports of its use for sharing examination-related materials during the re-test for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, suggesting that he should call for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan due to the situation.

This move to block Telegram comes amid ongoing concerns about examination integrity and cheating. NEET is a crucial examination for students seeking admission to medical colleges in India. Previous instances of examination malpractices have led to calls for stronger measures to protect the credibility of educational assessments.

In addition to the temporary block, the government is likely to intensify its efforts to enhance security measures during examinations, including the use of technology and strict monitoring protocols. The NEET re-test is expected to be closely monitored to ensure a fair process for all candidates.
