KSEB Imposes Penalty for Breaching Tariff Regulations by Renting Flats as Private Lodges

The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has announced plans to expand its inspection efforts throughout the state in response to recent incidents of regulatory violations. This initiative aims to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards within the electricity distribution sector.

The KSEBs decision comes in light of growing concerns over violations that may affect service reliability and safety for consumers. By increasing the frequency and scope of its inspections, the board intends to identify and rectify any non-compliance issues proactively.

In addition to addressing current violations, the KSEB also plans to enhance public awareness regarding safety standards and the importance of adhering to regulatory guidelines. The initiative is part of a larger effort to improve service quality and maintain the integrity of Keralas electricity infrastructure.

Stakeholders and residents can expect further updates on the implementation timeline and specific regional focus areas for the inspections as the KSEB continues to roll out this initiative.
