Nagaland Launches Teeka Talk Initiative to Enhance HPV Vaccination Awareness

The government of Nagaland has officially launched an initiative titled “Teeka Talk” aimed at raising awareness about the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) vaccination for adolescent girls. This initiative is a collaboration between the Department of Health and Family Welfare and the Girl Effect India organization.

HPV is a significant public health concern, being a leading cause of cervical cancer among women worldwide. The vaccination is recommended for preteens and adolescents to help protect against cancers related to HPV.
