NASA astronaut Kayla Barron recently shared a stunning video of a sunset captured from the International Space Station (ISS). According to Barron, the beautiful spectacle only lasts about eight seconds as the ISS orbits the Earth at a speed of approximately 17,500 miles per hour.

In her post, Barron noted the unique perspective the ISS provides, allowing astronauts to witness sunrises and sunsets multiple times a day. From their vantage point, they can observe the curvature of the Earth and the interplay of light as it reflects off the atmosphere.
