Officials Urge Educational Institutions to Achieve Bus Safety Compliance by May 20
Inspections of buses operated by educational institutions in the NTR district commenced on May 1, with plans to evaluate a total of 1,571 buses. The initiative aims to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain the well-being of students during transportation.
The inspections, carried out by the districts transport authorities, will focus on various safety standards, including mechanical condition, driver qualifications, and adherence to operational protocols. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance transportation safety within the education sector.
Officials announced that the inspections will be completed by the end of the month, with the goal of identifying any necessary repairs or upgrades to the buses before the start of the new academic year. In addition, the authorities have urged parents and guardians to remain vigilant regarding the safety of school transportation.
