Prince Rahim Aga Khan V Commences Official Six-Day Visit to India

Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, the eldest son of His Highness the Aga Khan IV and the Imam of the Nizari Ismaili community, has arrived in India for an official six-day visit. The visit, which aims to strengthen cultural and diplomatic ties between India and the Ismaili community, includes a series of high-level meetings with notable figures in Indian leadership.

During his stay, Prince Rahim met with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, where discussions likely focused on enhancing cooperation and understanding between the Ismaili community and the Indian government. He also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the importance of mutual respect and shared values. Furthermore, he engaged with President Droupadi Murmu, highlighting the contributions of the Ismaili community to Indias social and economic development.
