Royal Enfield Announces ₹2,200 Crore Investment in Andhra Pradesh and Establishes First Manufacturing Plant Outside Tamil Nadu

Royal Enfield, a renowned motorcycle manufacturer, has announced plans to establish a new production facility on a 267-acre site in Satyavedu, located in the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh. This project is expected to significantly enhance the companys manufacturing capacity by adding approximately 900,000 units annually.

The new plant is projected to create around 5,000 jobs, encompassing both direct employment opportunities and indirect jobs in related sectors. The development is scheduled to occur in two phases: the first phase aims for completion by 2029, while the second phase is set to be finalized by 2032.

This investment aligns with Royal Enfields strategy to expand its market presence and meet growing consumer demand. The establishment of the facility is also anticipated to contribute to the local economy and bolster the regions industrial landscape.
