Telangana Endures Rising Temperatures as Nizamabad Reaches 46℃; Many Districts Surpass 43℃
Ten districts in Telangana have reported maximum temperatures exceeding 45 degrees Celsius, indicating a significant heatwave in the region. The affected districts include Khammam, Nalgonda, and Warangal, among others.
This extreme weather event is attributed to a high-pressure system dominating the area, leading to increased temperatures. Weather experts have warned of continued high temperatures in the coming days, advising residents to take precautions to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activities during peak heat hours.
The state government has also activated measures to address potential heat-related health issues, including public awareness campaigns and increased medical readiness in healthcare facilities. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued advisories for residents in the affected districts and is monitoring the situation closely.
As a result, local authorities are on alert to respond to heat-related incidents and ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
