UDF Establishes Surveillance Measures for EVM Strongroom Monitoring

A special task force has been assigned to oversee the integrity of the electoral process leading up to the counting day. This team will monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the strongroom located at the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), where electronic voting machines (EVMs) from the constituency are securely stored.

The initiative aims to ensure transparency and security in the handling of the electoral equipment, which is crucial for maintaining public trust in the electoral process. The strongroom, where the EVMs are kept, is equipped with advanced surveillance technology to deter any potential tampering or unauthorized access.
