Vipul Appointed as Indias New Ambassador to Saudi Arabia

Mr. Vipul, a distinguished Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer from the 1998 batch, is currently appointed as the Indian Ambassador to Qatar. In this role, he is responsible for strengthening diplomatic relations between India and Qatar, promoting bilateral trade, and addressing the needs of the Indian diaspora residing in the Gulf nation.

During his career, Mr. Vipul has held various significant positions within the Indian diplomatic service, contributing to Indias foreign relations across multiple regions. His tenure as ambassador comes during a time of growing economic and cultural ties between India and Qatar, particularly in sectors such as energy, construction, and education.

As the ambassador, he is expected to facilitate discussions on cooperation in areas of mutual interest and enhance Indias global standing in the Middle East. Mr. Vipul’s experience includes prior postings in countries such as the United States and Sri Lanka, where he has developed significant expertise in international relations.
