Young Innovator from Jammu Secures $4.3 Million for Space Startup After Notable Achievements
Onkar Singh Batra, a 20-year-old entrepreneur from Jammu, has made significant strides in the technology and space sectors from a young age. Batra began his journey into technology at the age of seven and authored a book by the age of 12. By 13, he had founded his first company. At 16, he developed InQube, an open-source satellite project which highlighted the communication challenges faced by satellites operating in low Earth orbit.
Batra’s ambitions led him to establish Apolink in Silicon Valley, where he aims to create an innovative in-space communication network for satellites. As of now, he has successfully raised $4.3 million in funding to support his endeavors. His work focuses on building a continuous connectivity infrastructure, addressing the increasing demand for reliable communication systems in space.
