BJP Expected to Continue Leadership in Uttarakhand Under Dhami in 2027, Says Nitin Nabin
During a recent assembly in Dehradun, Nabin emphasized the significant initiatives undertaken by the Dhami government, particularly the introduction of the Uniform Civil Code and the efficient administration of the Char Dham Yatra pilgrimage.
The Uniform Civil Code aims to establish a common set of laws governing personal matters for all citizens, regardless of their religion, thereby promoting equality and justice. Meanwhile, the Char Dham Yatra, which encompasses a pilgrimage to four sacred Himalayan shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—attracts thousands of visitors each year and is vital for both spiritual tourism and the local economy. The government has focused on improving infrastructure and safety measures to support the influx of pilgrims, ensuring a smoother and more secure experience.
