CBSE Class 12 Students Experience Mark Increases Following Re-Evaluation
Following concerns about inconsistencies in the new Open Schooling Model (OSM) evaluation system, approximately 160,000 candidates requested a re-evaluation of their results. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced on June 21 that it had successfully released results for 139,000 of these candidates. The board indicated that the results for the remaining candidates will be published in phases in the near future.
The decision for re-evaluation came after students and educators highlighted discrepancies, prompting the CBSE to review its evaluation process. This step is part of the boards ongoing efforts to ensure fairness and accuracy in student assessments. According to CBSE officials, additional measures are being implemented to enhance the transparency of the evaluation system and to address any ongoing concerns from students and parents. Further updates regarding the remaining results will be communicated by the CBSE soon.
