Delhi EWS Admission 2026: Approximately 9,000 Students Chosen in Second Computerized Draw for Private Schools

The Delhi Directorate of Education announced the results of the second computerized draw for the admissions to entry-level classes in private unaided schools for the 2026-27 academic session. A total of 8,976 students have been selected under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups (DG), and Children with Special Needs (CWSN) categories.

The computerized lottery system is designed to ensure a transparent and fair allocation of seats for eligible students. To participate, applicants must adhere to specific age guidelines and are required to provide necessary documentation, which includes disability certificates for those applying under the CWSN category.

The admission process is part of an initiative by the Delhi government to enhance educational accessibility for underprivileged communities. Private schools participating in this scheme are mandated to reserve a percentage of their seats in compliance with the governments directives. The final list of selected students will be followed by further instructions regarding the admission process.
