KIA Surpasses Mumbai to Become the Second Busiest Domestic Airport in India

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has maintained its position as the second busiest airport in the international sector in India for passenger traffic. In the recent report, CSMIA recorded a total of 1,153,949 passengers. In contrast, Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru served 506,309 passengers during the same period.

As of October 2023, the airport is known for its modern facilities and services aimed at enhancing the passenger experience.

KIA, recognized for its efficiency and passenger-friendly services, has also been expanding its operations and may see growth as well, supported by several new airline partnerships and route introductions recently.
