Naidu, Pawan, and Chouhan Introduce VB-G Ram G Scheme in Tirupati District

A renewed rural employment scheme was launched in Mukkavaripalli, located in the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh. This initiative emphasizes the welfare of farmers, aiming to enhance rural livelihoods and employment opportunities in the region.

As part of the program, the central government has committed to procuring 2.16 lakh tonnes of Totapuri mangoes, a popular variety grown extensively in Andhra Pradesh. The procurement of these mangoes is expected to provide a significant boost to local farmers, ensuring them a fair price for their produce and supporting the agricultural economy in the area.

The renewed scheme is part of broader efforts by the government to tackle rural unemployment and enhance agricultural productivity, as well as facilitate better market access for farmers. The Totapuri mango procurement is particularly timely, as the mango season approaches, and is expected to benefit numerous farmers in the region, fostering both economic stability and growth in the rural agricultural sector.
