NEET PG 2026: PIB Refutes Paper Leak Claims, Re-examination Scheduled for 2,445 Candidates
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check unit has dismissed allegations regarding a leak of the NEET PG 2026 question paper in Jaipur, labeling these claims as misleading. The confusion arose following disruptions at two examination centers, which were attributed to internal power supply failures. This incident impacted approximately 2,445 candidates who were scheduled to take the exam.
To address the situation, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that a re-examination will be conducted on September 5. Candidates affected by the power supply issues will be issued new admit cards for the rescheduled exam. Results from this re-examination are anticipated to be released by September 15.
The NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) is a crucial examination for medical graduates in India, serving as a gateway for admissions to various postgraduate medical programs across the country. The integrity of the examination process is vital, and authorities are committed to ensuring a fair and transparent testing environment.
