RIL Q2 FY27 results: Company surpasses estimates with record quarterly EBITDA; revenue increases by 25%

Reliance Industries Reports Q2 FY27 Results: Strong Revenue Growth Despite Profit Decline

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has announced its financial results for the second quarter of FY27, surpassing analysts expectations with a record quarterly EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) and a notable revenue increase of 25% year-over-year.

The company reported a revenue of ₹20,946 crore, marking significant growth from the previous year. However, net profit saw a decline of 22% due to a one-time gain from Asian Paints in the same quarter last year, which impacted year-over-year comparisons. Analysts had predicted a decrease in profit, but the results demonstrate the companys resilience in a competitive market.

The strong revenue growth can be attributed to robust performance across various segments, including telecommunications, retail, and petrochemicals. The telecommunications arm, Jio, continues to expand its subscriber base, while Reliance Retail has reported rising consumer demand amid a recovery in the economy.

In addition, RIL has been focusing on enhancing its digital and retail ecosystems, aiming for further integration of technology in its operations. This approach positions the company to leverage new growth opportunities in the evolving market landscape.

Looking ahead, investors and analysts will be monitoring RILs strategic initiatives and their potential impact on future profitability, particularly in light of increasing operational costs and market competition.
