Toxic Box Office Collection on Day 8: Film Earns Rs 3.78 Crore

Box Office Update: Yashs Toxic Sees Steady Earnings Amid Mixed Reviews

The film Toxic, featuring a star-studded cast including Yash, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, and Kiara Advani, continues to perform well at the box office. On its eighth day, the movie generated ₹3.78 crore, bringing its total earnings to approximately ₹225 crore in India, according to reports from industry analysts.

Despite a solid debut, Toxic saw a slight decline in revenues, dropping by about 35% from the previous days collection, which was around ₹5.10 crore. Critics have expressed mixed reviews, with some viewing the film as groundbreaking and ahead of its time, while others have labeled it as “toxic” in the context of cinematic quality.

In the wake of the films release, Kantara composer has defended Toxic, suggesting that even well-regarded films such as Lagaan would struggle to find the same impact if released in todays market. Additionally, actress Sumalatha praised Yashs performance, urging fans to take negative criticism with a grain of salt.

As the film continues its run in theaters, industry experts are noting its unique market position and the potential for discussion around its themes. With its considerable box office success, Toxic is poised to make an even greater impact as conversations around it develop.
