University UG Admissions 2026: Over 190,000 Students Register Ahead of First Seat Allotment on July 16
Delhi University has reported a significant number of registrations for undergraduate admissions, with over 190,000 students participating through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Of these, more than 164,000 candidates have completed the preference submission process.
The university is set to release its first seat allotment list on July 16. To enhance the admission experience, DU has introduced a one-time correction window, allowing students to modify their applications if necessary. Additionally, the institution has implemented a new virtual wallet system designed to facilitate the admission and fee payment processes for students.
This years admissions are particularly competitive, reflecting the growing interest in higher education at one of India’s premier universities. In response to the increasing number of applicants, officials are emphasizing a streamlined admission procedure to ensure a smoother experience for applicants.
