Telangana Sees Surge in Maximum Temperatures, Seven Districts Exceed 46℃

Dummugudem in Bhadradri Kothagudem district and Dharmapuri in Jagtial district were identified as the hottest locations in the state, each recording a maximum temperature of 46.3 degrees Celsius.

This extreme temperature reflects a broader trend of rising heat across various regions as the state experiences a prolonged heatwave. Meteorological experts indicate that such high temperatures can be linked to a combination of factors, including prolonged periods of high pressure and limited rainfall.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has advised residents to take precautions during the heatwave, which could include staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and monitoring for heat-related illnesses.
